[1 of 4] All faiths except biblical Christianity falsely base your entrance into heaven (or some supposed other afterlife, or reincarnation) on your own works—they are religions or cults and they are all works-based. That religiosity is popular because people want to FEEL more spiritual by doing religious tasks, instead of having to humble themselves to receive free forgiveness of their sins through Jesus. So, religions like Hinduism take advantage of that mindset by having their followers perform rituals to appease the 300 million Hindu gods (demons). [4 of 4] Then there's this important fact about the rock solid credibility of the Bible: Scripture was written over a period of 1500 years, through 40 generations, by 40 authors from every walk of life, including kings, peasants, philosophers, fisherman, poets, statesmen, etc. Before getting saved, I used to say the Bible was whipped up by men, but even on his best day, man could never put together something like the Bible. The writers didn't even know each other, so how can critics claim they conspired? The diverse authors of the Bible were from all over the spectrum: Moses, was a political leader; Peter, a Fisherman; Amos, a herdsman; Joshua, a military general; Nehemiah, a cup bearer; Daniel, a prime minister; Luke, a doctor;
Solomon, a King; Matthew, a tax collector; and Paul was a rabbi. Scripture was written in all kind of places: the wilderness, a dungeon, on a hillside, in a palace, from prison, while traveling, by John on the island of Patmos, and during military campaigns. That last one was during war, but some of the Bible was also written in times of peace. So there were many different moods of the authors, from the heights of joy to the depths of despair and sorrow. On top of all that, Scripture was written on three continents (Asia, Africa, and Europe) in three languages (Hebrew, Koine Greek, and a small part was Aramaic). With those aspects of the Bible in mind, here are the mind-blowers: Never once does the Bible contradict itself and it gives the same message throughout the Old and New Testament.

[3 of 4] Another reason we can trust the Bible is that there are close to 25,000 copies of the New Testament, some from the actual lifetime of the writers. It used to be that the oldest were amazingly within only 25 years of the date written, but now we even have Scripture from the same year the writing was originally created. Those copies are on scrolls that were stored in pottery at Qumran in the Judean Desert, part of Israel’s West Bank. And for some strange reason, that extraordinary historical find gets no attention from the secular media or airtime on the History Channel. Why would
they ignore Old and New Testament materials, especially when
some of the latter is from the same year the original was written. I’ve repeated that twice because it is absolutely phenomenal, and greatly contributes to the unquestionable reliability of the Bible. Now let’s contrast the Bible with similarly ancient writings from Aristotle and Plato—that no one mocks as unverifiable: The Bible has 25,000 copies, some from within the same year as the original, yet people feel free to question the authority and authenticity of Scripture, while the earliest copies of Plato and Aristotle are 1200 and 1400 years removed, respectively, from the originals. And there are only 7 and 49 copies of those works on the whole planet. No one scoffs at the authenticity of those books, while at the
same time they do with the Bible, which is exponentially more

[2 of 4] A second testament to the veracity of the Bible is the Jewish copy methods, including writing on long-lasting surfaces like animal skins, pottery, and even copper scrolls. Through God’s sovereign plan to preserve His Word for future generations, many of these Scriptures were stored in the desert, where extreme dryness greatly facilitated the preservation process. It's almost like God knew what He was doing, right? Also, the Jewish scribes had to produce these Scriptures with the exact same number of lines and
columns throughout every Bible codex (an ancient text in book form). In fact, the process involved a mathematical formula, a mandatory recipe for the ink, and nothing being written from memory—not even insignificant punctuation. The copiers had to sit in full dress and rewash their entire body each time they wrote the name of God. Even if a king or other royalty addressed a scribe doing this sacred work, the copier could not acknowledge that noble, an insubordinate act that was most
likely punishable by death. So, you can see that the integrity of

Let’s say this island guy has not seen another person—no human, animal, bird, or even an insect. The skeptic's question is this: "Do you mean to tell me God is going to send that poor guy to hell?” You may know the answer if you’ve already watched our seminary-style study called "Discipleship 101 and 102," a disciple's education for every Christian, because the last directive from Jesus as He left earth was, "Go and make discipled learners of all nations.” Every saved soul is a blessing, but each accomplished Disciple is equipped to bring multitudes with him or her to heaven. Romans 1 and 2 answer our question about
the isolated, island person and it’s called the "three C's.”; I'll give the first C here and the other two in part two: God's “Creation" is apparent to every human, so lack of a Bible is no excuse. Romans 1 says we have "the light of creation." Just step outside to see a bird, a flea, or a bee; that is intelligent design—just as your car, watch, and phone are—which implies designer. The unfathomable complexity of the stars and planets testify that they did not happen by chance. All of creation drives us to know that there is a God. Romans 1 tells us that "God's invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen since the
creation of the world.” God can be seen and heard by observing
and hearing His creation. So, everyone is accountable—no

Contrary to that, the Bible tells us there is only one Mediator between man and God—that is Jesus Christ. And because Christ already did all the work FOR US, we are able to go straight to Jesus; thus, avoiding any of man’s prescribed rituals. And it costs us nothing except to humble ourselves, admitting we need a savior. In Hebrews, John the apostle of Christ tells us that we Christians have the freedom to go directly to God, and we can do so with boldness, always finding Grace and help from Him in our time of need. But even though we showed Him all that disrespect and He certainly never needed us, He still chose to die for us so that we can become what we Christians are today: HIS ACTUAL CHILDREN! And it's all free! There is no priest to go through, no money to send in, and no techniques to perform—absolutely NO WORKS! It's all been taken care of. It is done! Yet people want to claim “every religion teaches pretty much the same thing." No! That's a lie. Christianity is absolutely unique and is the only way. But in his depravity, Satan has invented a myriad of false paths, just to confuse people away from Jesus. And the devil does so out of pure evil, wanting as many duped people as possible to join him in the Lake of Fire. Satan knows he has lost. Jesus beat him on the cross.
