DOES MORMONISM BELIEVE WE CAN BECOME GODS? "Mormonism teaches God and His ‘wife’ had many children. Then God decided that His children should go through a physical existence on the earth. After death [we] will pass through the spirit world where faithful people will enter into a paradise and everybody else will suffer in spirit prison where they will have an opportunity to accept the gospel. Then comes the resurrection and judgment. Most people will go on to one of three levels of heaven...everyone is granted immortality but where they spend it is determined by their performance [works]. The lowest level is for bad people and the next, generally good people [who] fell short of earning the highest heaven. But for Mormons who achieve perfect repentance and obedience to the law on earth, which not even the Apostle
Paul could do, there is...the highest level of heaven where God dwells. Brigham Young taught that Joseph Smith [Mormon founder] reigns there as a Supreme Being and no one enters without his consent. And only those who attain to the highest level...can spend eternity with their families. To do this they must have been sealed in the [Mormon] temple. [There] they become gods themselves, ruling over and populating their own planet just like God did before them. In order to hold to this belief system, Mormons must ignore clear teachings in the Bible, including that all Christians go to live with God immediately after death, that everyone else goes to eternal torment, that only Christians are God's children (but it's an adoption), that there is no second chance for salvation after death, that there is no marriage or procreation in the resurrection, and
that eternity is spent worshipping God; not being a god.” | image tagged in mormon, god, eternity, lds, bible, jesus | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

WHAT MAKES AMERICA GREAT AGAIN? As Americans we gather together on the 4th of July to celebrate our nation’s amazing independence from the hands of tyranny and oppression, as well as acknowledge how our Founding Fathers were willing to sacrifice it all: their land, livelihood, and comfort. They did whatever it took to secure and maintain our current freedoms. But most Americans, including Christians, have no idea what made our country so great and what it was that provided the amazing backbone of our Founding Fathers. What Made America So Great was that America was founded on Christianity. Therefore, this study, "What Makes America Great Again," exposes the amazing three-step plan that was set up by our Founding Fathers to ensure our freedoms and maintain our country’s awesome power and vitality. But all that history has been deliberately buried and erased from our textbooks by those seeking to enslave us once again. Our Founding Fathers put Jesus Christ in our Government, our Schools, and our Churches. This is the long-forgotten secret to the genius and power of America. People, we need to wake up and deal with the facts: Once again we are under the hands of tyranny and oppression and if our once Great Nation is ever going to become Great again, we must

DO CHRISTIANS STAND ON ANY AUTHORITY OUTSIDE THE BIBLE? We face challenges with cults and religions that get outside the Bible, even though many will still claim they believe it. In practice, however, Scripture is not what they follow. And let me step on more toes even closer to home: This same mistake is going on in the Christian Church today. We sit with our doctrinal statements confirming that the Bible is the final rule of faith and practice (Sola Scriptura), but is that really what we follow? Often today, the answer is “no." What I have witnessed wherever I've pastored is that the Bible does not determine the lives of Christians; especially these days. What does? It's the secular educational system, media, personal opinion, and peer
pressure. Those are today's determining factors, even for Christians. To support those views, we search the Bible for loopholes, twist verses, and take passages out of context because there is societal pressure; or we just want something to be true so we attempt to squeeze it into the Scriptures. That's unfortunate and shows how Christians today are in danger of doing the same thing these other faiths have done—going outside the Bible. And as we learned from our "Charismatic Chaos" study, the charismatic fringe groups are doing the same with their prophet and prophetess claims. Their so-called prophets supposedly have an ability to get a "new word" from God. How is that any different than what goes on with Mormonism, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Seventh Day Adventists, Roman Catholicism’s popes or committees, and all the rest run by man’s ideas? It's the same as
Christians in the Church today, who also get outside Scripture. | image tagged in bible, christian, god, jesus, wisdom, truth | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

AFTER YEARS OF SEARCHING, HOW WAS I ABLE TO FINALLY GET A LIFE?
This video presentation—"Get a Life!"—is the true salvation testimony from Pastor Billy Crone, the story of a flawed individual who went from earthly rags to heavenly riches after years of drug addiction, heavy-metal head banging, sexual immorality, and male chauvinism. Today, only by the grace of God
is that same person a preacher of Christ’s gospel. | image tagged in salvation, bible, god, jesus, christian, life | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

HAVE YOU PUT IN THE TIME TO BECOME A DEFENDER OF YOUR FAITH? Some Christians incorrectly claim, “You just have to accept it on faith.” That is true, but incomplete. Along with that trust, God commanded us to be prepared to give a defense, in gentleness and respect, for the hope we possess. As a previous unbeliever, but seeker of the truth, my dislike of Christians was in part from this seemingly-dismissive statement that I should just believe without any evidence. To not frustrate seekers, but be a blessing instead, our study, “Defenders of the Faith: Intro to Apologetics,” equips Christians with
the answers to many skeptical questions we get from those looking
for the truth, including many mentally trapped in false beliefs. | image tagged in god, bible, truth, jesus, christian, knowledge | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
