WHAT DO WE KNOW ABOUT SATAN'S LEVEL OF EVIL? If you've seen our study series, "Spiritual Warfare: The Satanic War on the Christian," you'll know that, in Greek, Scripture's word for Satan's level of evil is "poneros," versus how he could have been depicted as “kakos.” Kakos is just a general evil and could be described in this way: A kakos person would go in to rob a 7-Eleven, and then when the store is surrounded by the
police with no way of escape, he would give up and put his gun down. That robber would be considered kakos, or generally bad. But "poneros," which is used to describe Satan's brand of evil, would result in a quite different end to our scenario. A poneros individual, like Satan, would be in that same store with his gun, but when surrounded by the police with
no way out, he is so evil he would shoot and kill as many people as he can
before being taken. That's poneros and it is the word our Bible
uses to describe Satan’s more extreme brand of evil. | image tagged in devil, satan, god, bible, jesus, christian | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

SOME ASK, "If God is good and loving, why did He
create Satan to wreak havoc on our world?" The answer is that Satan started out as one of God’s magnificent, created angels that was actually put at the lofty level of an angelic cherub. But Scripture describes how he used the free will God gave him to became the first being responsible for the first sin. So, God did not create the one now known as Satan. Instead, our Lord fashioned a beautiful cherub angel that made the decision to sin. Isaiah 14 and Ezekiel 28 inform us about the fall of Satan, originally a beautiful and blameless creature in all his splendor, until wickedness was found—in—him. Satan is the one responsible for evil. God created a wonderful angel, gave him free choice, and with it that angel selfishly chose to become the wicked Satan, who was motivated by his desire to more greatly exalt
himself. The spread of his decision to sin is what we must deal with still today. | image tagged in satan, devil, god, jesus, evil, bible | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

DO PEOPLE ASK YOU FOR PROOF OF GOD? [3 of 3] Here's another fulfilled prophecy from God: In the book of Ezekiel, Amos predicted the city of Tyre would be attacked by many nations and its fortresses would fail. Also, the remains of the city (stones, timber, and soil) would be thrown into the sea and the leveled city would be used to spread fishing nets. By now you know it happened just that way. Several different nations attempted Tyre's destruction but the people would retreat to their island fortress out in the bay, probably taunting the attackers who could not reach them. Finally Alexander the Great came along, dismantling
the houses and other structures of Tyre, and throwing them into
the sea to make a land bridge out to those people on the island. Would you say the Tyre folks probably stopped taunting Alexander's army by the time they were half way there? So, Alexander the Great wiped the city of Tyre completely clean because the ruins all went into the water to make his land bridge. And do you know what the area of the original city is used for today? It's a flat, barren rock that is used as the perfect place to spread fishing nets. All that is exactly what God predicted, and it was well in advance. Over and over again, God prophesied the rise and fall of nations. And God did these sorts of specific predictions 2500 times in the Bible, with 2000 having already come true.
I mean, give me a break! How much more proof do we need? With
each one, God is telling us, "The Bible came from Me!" | image tagged in god, bible, future, prophecy, truth, heaven | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

DO PEOPLE ASK YOU FOR PROOF OF GOD? [1 of 3] Well, here’s some: how about God's track record with His predictions (prophecies)? I will give you a couple examples but just know that, so far, God has fulfilled over 2000 predictions He made, and we can read about of them in the Bible. In fact, God's predictions aren’t vague like those of psychics. Yet, even with very specific prophecies, God has been 100% correct and His remaining 500 predictions are all lining up right now during these last days before Jesus’s return. In Daniel 2, God predicted the rise of nations, telling us about these four future empires that then came to be and also in the Bible’s historical order: Babylon, Medo-Persian,
Greece, and then Rome. God also predicted the fall of nations. In the Bible's book of Nahum, God predicted Nineveh would be permanently destroyed by fire, easily captured, their army officers would desert, and those officers would even be drunk in their final hours. As specific as God was, of course it happened just that way. Archaeologists have not only discovered Nineveh, but also uncovered a layer of ash in its ruins, showing it was destroyed by fire. Also, ancient Babylonian records reveal how Nineveh was easily overtaken and that their officers fled the scene. Another Greek historian records how the king gave much wine to his soldiers that night, causing them to be drunk.
It was exactly as God said it would be and that prediction
was not your average psychic-type generalized con like,
"You're going to meet someone new.” Yeah, ya think? | image tagged in god, bible, prophecy, truth, death, heaven | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
