But our salvation through Christ is the most exciting development that has ever happened to mankind. and forever learning more and more about the mind of God. I'm all for that! But there is so much deadness in a huge number of Christian Churches today because we’re not spending daily time in the Bible, which is how Christians become passionate for God's truth. This has caused people to get sucked into hyper-charismatic churches, where they are often led to connect with spirits that are not from God. While I agree that many Christian Churches today are fairly lifeless, those are not accurate representations of true biblical Christianity—they’re normally not very biblical. Either way though, two wrongs don't make a right, so jumping into

As a pastor who travels frequently throughout America and also to many nations around the world, (for conferences, interviews, and other public speaking), I talk with a diverse population. One common, misinformed, and alarming misconception is presented to me by people everywhere, and it is because they do not investigate this monumentally important claim that has them clinging to a completely false hope: Men and women all around the planet rely on their ticket to a pleasant eternity being their status a “relatively good person,” or “fairly good person." But that doesn't make you a Christian. Contrary to
that tragic delusion, Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father [God in heaven] except through Me.” We have all broken God's law, whether it's lying, stealing, lusting, practicing idolatry by loving things or people more than God, breaking other commandments, or all of the above. Just one of those sins against our Creator is the constant self-focused idol worship of our modern society. According to God’s Word in the Bible, anything can become our idol, including money, possessions, television, other entertainment, a hobby, another person, or even
ourselves. When we get preoccupied with something to point where
that obsession is more important than our relationship with God,

Prominent Christian Scientists
from further back were Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor, Henry Fonda,
Robert Duval, Audrey Hepburn, Joan Crawford, Ginger Rodgers,
Carol Channing, Ernest Hemingway, Doris Day, and Jean Stapleton

Even today, the religion of Christian Science gets all that wrong because they follow her teachings as their ultimate source of authority, rather than the true Word of God in the Bible. They need to rely on Scripture, rather than Eddy’s false teachings that corrupt biblical truth. And the lies put out by many cults were ultimately given to
them through contact with lying demons. By that, I mean organizations like
the Jehovah's Witnesses, Mormonism, and Seventh Day Adventists. Whenever unfortunate followers of those false faiths get back to the Bible, they start to understand how their corrupt founders and leaders, like Mormonism’s Joseph Smith—from a family of practicing witches—put out false claims that contradict the Bible. Charles Taze Russell and Judge Rutherford, the first two leaders of Jehovah’s Witnesses, produced loads of anti-biblical teachings. Like Christian Science and its double-talking founder Mary Baker Eddy, followers of Seventh Day Adventists are taught to ultimately rely on the unbiblical teachings of Ellen G White. But reading the Bible for ourselves forces us to choose one set of ideas over the other, because the Bible contradicts mankind’s corrupt teachings—both cannot be true. Those cult members who finally get into God’s Word, inevitably find their group lied to them. As Christians, our goal must to get duped followers of false faiths to see their Bibles as the ultimate source of authority, the roadmap for life that truthfully explains the nature of God and man, the understanding that sin is real, and the personal work of Jesus that has saved us
from an eternal penalty in hell, if only we would humble ourselves enough to
accept it. We are all immortal, made in God’s image. Where we go after

Gerald Bergman, PHD, wrote about the time Mark Twain encountered a Christian Science practitioner—and set her straight: “On a vacation Twain fell off a cliff in Austria and ‘broke some arms and legs and one thing or another.’ After being rescued by local peasants, he searched in vain for a doctor. Finally, a Christian Science practitioner was located who was vacationing in the village. Unable to come immediately she sent Twain the message to relax because there was nothing wrong with him, and his feelings of pain were ‘imagined,’ therefore he needed no treatment.
The practitioner, a large middle-aged woman with an austere face,
later came to help Twain deal with his imagined broken bones. When trying to convince Mr. Twain that the pain he was then experiencing didn’t exist, she accidentally raked her hand on a pin in her dress, said “ouch” in pain, then tranquilly went on trying to convince Mr. Twain that pain doesn’t exist. Needless to say, she failed to convince Mr. Twain that his bones did not hurt and there was no such thing as pain. Fortunately, Mr. Twain survived, no doubt because he found someone who was concerned with setting bones instead of selling a dangerous pseudoscientific religious philosophy. Mr. Twain’s
book is written to bring many chuckles, but the religion it discusses

Most people don’t take the subject seriously because they do not believe in the devil or his demons, including 65% of professing Christians—who are obviously missing those many, many sections in the Bible. One of Satan’s most effective subversions has been to convince generations that he’s not real. But demon possession of humans has been happening every day all over America and around the world; it has been for millennia. And much of society remains defenseless, wrongly trained, and brainwashed
by secular psychology and the secular media who constantly
produce God-hating and God-rejecting teachings, turning
a blind eye to Lucifer and his demon helpers. This misinformation and lack of warning cause our sad situation today where the captives of practices like voodoo (that lead to demonic possession) are not being set free, even though the good news is that they can be—100% of the time—in the name of Jesus. And they will never be possessed again if they would receive Christ as their Lord and Savior. The Bible says Christians do not need to be afraid of this human-tormenting evil, even when it is real. And though we do not want to purposely look for trouble, we also do not need to be afraid of Satan. And praise God that, even if he or his demons were to actually appear before us, by the authority of Jesus Christ, Christians can deal with that and quickly end the encounter.
