Unfortunately, many famous people have been duped Christian Science, and those have probably caused millions of others to join. Among past Christian Scientists are Robin Williams, Kelsey Grammer, Val Kilmer, Ellen DeGeneres, Muppets creator Jim Henson, author Danielle Steel, singer Bruce Hornsby, and Metallica’s James Hetfield. Prominent Christian Scientists from further back were Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor, Henry Fonda, Robert Duval, Audrey Hepburn, Joan Crawford, Ginger Rodgers, Carol Channing, Ernest Hemingway, Doris Day, and Jean Stapleton from the 1970s television show All in the Family.
