WHAT IS THE CATCH-22 FOR MORMONS CLAIMING TO BE CHRISTIANS?
First, please do not shut the door on anyone coming to talk
about faith. Instead, in a loving and caring way, we Christians need to be prepared to help those caught in Mormonism and other false faith. Let’s witness to those that are out “witnessing.” That said, Mormons have a real dilemma when they claim to be Christian: their own founders said Christianity involves, ”corruption, abomination, heathens, ignorance, the wh**e of the earth and Babylon, being devoid of fact, paganism, being hatched in hell, nonsense, monstrous iniquity, wickedness, murderers, idolaters, infidelity, a mythical Christ, and a perversion of the gospel.”; Joseph Smith, the main source of Mormon doctrine, said “Christians will all be damned unless they repent by becoming Mormon.” Facing those facts forces Mormons to admit one of two losing arguments: Either they must agree that they are part of an organization committing heresy against Christ and His Church, or they need to somehow dismiss what their top leaders and founders said—those who created Mormon doctrine; it’s either admit their false teachings, or deny their false teachers who invented those beliefs. And if they call out
their leaders for lying, why should we—or they—believe any of the
doctrine they want to talk about at our house? | image tagged in mormon, cult, god, bible, christian, jesus | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

WHAT IS THE LAST RESPONSE A SKEPTICAL WORLD WANTS TO HEAR FROM CHRISTIANS? It's this statement: “Well, you just have to accept it by faith.” Yes, true faith is necessary for salvation. However, God still commands His people to give a “defense” for our faith, using sound logic, reason, and satisfying philosophical answers. Our "Defenders of the Faith” study equips Christians with the soundness of our faith, in regards to such skeptical questions as these: Does God Exist? What about Evolution? Is the Bible Really the Word of God? Why do we have Evil and Suffering in the World? Is Jesus Really the Son of God? Did Jesus Really Rise from the Dead? What is the Meaning of Life? Believe it or not, when you become a Christian you don’t have to check your brain at the door. God clearly says, “Come let us reason together.”
Learn to defend your faith and start sharing those logical, straightforward,
God-given answers to your skeptical friends’ legitimate questions. | image tagged in christian, bible, god, jesus, knowledge, warrior | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

IS OUR BIBLE THE ONLY WRITTEN REVELATION FROM GOD? YES!
God has given us NO other written revelation, so the Bible is our sole source of final authority for faith and practice. Unfortunately, that's not what is followed by many professing Christians, even though God made it clear that the Bible is all He gave us. And we should celebrate that! Before getting saved, I was deep into New Age, which was extremely frustrating because nothing about it ever satisfied! It was intellectually stimulating and sounded like people were giving answers, but it would just never pan out. With New Age, a person gets to pick from a ton of doctrines. I would spend three months going down one route, which would end up not working, and then try another. I really studied and practiced hard, but always with disappointing results: answers seemed almost in my grasp; still, nothing ended up supplying that needed gratification. It was completely different the day I
called upon the name of Jesus Christ and really meant it from my heart. It was like, "BOOM! WOO HOO! And I thought right away, "Hey, this is real! Something is different about this." I was so relieved when I got saved, because my life had been extremely frustrating. No longer did I have to bounce from one of man's ideas to the next. And that's the irony: we should relish the fact that we came into the truth, thanking God for us no longer having to wonder what's true about life, about anything that’s happened in the past, or what will be in our future. The answers are all in the Bible, so we don't have to wonder if it's the one real book from God. The Bible is it! But these days we seem to run from God's Word. In fact, I have a problem with a current statistic about the state of professing Christians in the American Church today: while they claim Christianity, even in the Church over 50% no longer believe in the absolute authority of the Bible. Close to the same number think it has errors. That's just crazy, especially when God says there is no other written
revelation besides the Old and New Testaments. As you’d expect from the One
real Supreme Being, He has wrapped His Word up in a nice package for us,
so we need only to get in there and enjoy the mind of God! | image tagged in bible, god, jesus, christian, word, christ | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

HOW CAN WE BE SURE THE BIBLE CAME FROM GOD?
Just remember, "Bubba Jones And Earl T Mason Ate Peppered Squirrel Sausage (BJAETMAPSS)." Those are the ten lines of logical evidence for why the Bible is unlike any other book on the planet. All these sources confirm it is true: the Bible, Jesus, the Apostles, the Early church and church history, the Transmission standard, Manuscript evidence, Archaeology, predictive Prophecy (Bible Prophecy), Science, and Statistical probabilities (BJAETMAPSS). Also, the Bible is a collection of 66 books, written by 40 different authors, on 3 different continents, in 3 different languages, over a period of 1500 years; yet, all 66 books have a miraculous unity and agreement. Besides that, it was written over a
multitude of generations, but never contradicts itself—not even once!
There is no way man could ever whip something like that.
It is the only book of its kind because THE BIBLE CAME
FROM GOD—HE WANTED US TO HAVE IT!! | image tagged in bible, truth, god, reliablity, supernatural, communication | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

WANT TO KNOW THE FUTURE? [5 of 5]
One the most significant evidences for the divine origin of the Bible is prophecy—2500 prophecies—2000 already fulfilled. It is statistically impossible for the Bible's detailed prophecies to have been fulfilled by chance, (as opposed to man compiling his guesses in a book, adding Christianese, and giving us today's false, world religion and cults). The Bible has been thoroughly verified, and explicitly warns against adding to or taking away from what God has given. The Bible repeatedly tells us to stick to the Bible and not add another word. Here are a couple examples: "You shall not add to the word that I command you, nor take away from it (Deuteronomy 4:2),” and "Whatever I command you, you shall be careful to do; you shall not add nor take away from it (Deuteronomy 12:32).” With all due respect, all false faiths outside the Bible completely go against what God just commanded there. They have constantly
added man's teachings and rewritten, chopped, and spliced God’s Word. Here is more from the Bible: "Every word of God has proven to be true. He is a shield...Do not add to His words or He will reprove you, and you will be proved a liar (Proverbs 30:5-6).” If we will only stick to God's Word in the Bible, it will be a shield to protect us from man's harmful lies and false teachers ripping us off. Here's more from Revelation 22:18-19: "I testify to everyone who hears the words this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues which were written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of book this prophecy, God will take away his part in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are written in this book.” So God's message is this: Don't add to or take away from Scripture; leave it alone because I, God, have put my stamp of approval on it 2500 times. Isn't that good enough? Why do we have to keep going somewhere else? Just like
the Old Testament stories of the people groups constantly straying and
coming back, only to stray again, even today we are looking for some
other ideas, theories, or prophets to guide us. Why can't we just
get in the Bible and enjoy it straight from the mind of God!? | image tagged in bible, prophecy, god, future, jesus, christian | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
