Nope, I meant oriental-- people in the USA get uptight about using Oriental as an adjective for a person, but the rest of the world does not, it is more specific than Asian.

Maybe...but the term fell out of use in the US way before sjws took over. it is geographically wrong to use the word "oriental" for something exclusive to Asia. The Orient includes part of Africa and Morocco.

The term "Orient" generally applies to what was called the "Far East" and Southeast Asia, and is more specific than Asian, which includes Siberia/Eastern Russia,Cyprus, Saudi Arabia, Egypt Kuwait, Israel, and most of the Middle East. The British English and Australian English usage as described in Wiki essentially is the way I use it.
