I don't have a problem with this meme, and there's definitely some truth to it. But I do think it's funny that if someone made a meme that made the statement about any other people group (Asian, black, Mexican, Jewish, whatever) that they all lie, it wouldn't be received at all the same way.

Thanks socrates. I would hope it would not offend anyone, not my intentions. I am white, with Cherokee roots on my fathers side. I don't think we ever made a treaty with the Indians we didn't break. I believe it's true what you say if it was directed at other races, all people lie not just whites.

If someone did get offended, the problem would be with them, not the meme.

If I was not part Cherokee myself, I might not have bothered to understand that breaking treaties by the government was a policy.

Nope they never intended to keep any of their treaties..

What gets to me sometimes is how people justify it by basically saying it never really happened...much. Or that Indians first broke the treaties. Wow, such blindness to the facts. I've heard some pretty foul sh** by otherwise good friends.

You never here about the 90 to 105 million Indians that were exterminated either.

You also don't hear about how civilized most of the tribes were, even compared to the stinky Europeans who did have better weaponry.

Thanks. the politicians these days is like choosing what poison you want to kill you. they can put that left, right, red blue spin to it, but these it's all about up down, and green. And the only time we unite as Americans is during war. Our government as a whole is dysfunctional.

I like this a lot. I'm part Blackfoot, My grandma taught on the Navajo reservation for like 20 years and my dad went to high school the rez. This white boy just got a good laugh. On point as usual rpc+1.
