Explain to me how rap is music, and I'll try to answer your question. Talking in rhyme over a computerized beat is not music. What instrument do they play? Can they read sheet music? Do they even know what a treble-clef is? There is a reason they themselves call themselves "Recording Artists" Because they record. They have NO musical talent what-so-ever. I can record a fart, a lot of people might listen to it...that does not make it music.
