I think "White guilt" is a stupid concept. My ancestors never owned slaves. Even if they did, why am I supposed to feel bad that my ancestors did something wrong a long time ago? It's just stirring the pot because you can't get enough facebook likes or twitter followers or media attention. Everybody nowadays needs their 15 seconds of fame, no matter how stupid they have to make themselves look in the process.

But I digress.

The sooner people accept that slavery was not a white man concept alone and that abolishing slavery wasn't a black man accomplishment alone, the closer we will be to ending racism.

I think white guilt is more a tool used to boost their own likability and then perpetuated by those with a need to fit in.

If you make witty,... good comments,... rather than post unrelated memes in the thread,.. users will appreciate you a lot more. When you post a link to your profile to an unrelated meme,... it looks like spam,.. like your using someone elses meme to market your meme. I have seen you make good comment memes,.. and get upvotes. The more you do that,.. the more you will attract users to your profile and memes. =) Trust me bro!!!

Hey bro,... I always give benefit of the doubt,... since 95% of my memes are from my phone as well. There are some users that make good memes,.. but comment in a challenging or sometimes negative way that I think turns some users off. I upvote all comments,... even if they disagree with me when they at least acknowledge my opinion. It is an open forum,.. so we can expect a variety of opinions. I notice that polite opinions get not only noticed,.. but other users will visit their profiles and comment / upvote their memes. It's the comments that are "intolerant" of other opinions that get ignored. Your comment of yours that I initially commented on,.. was a different opinion,.. but it was polite and informed. It makes a big difference! My favorite liberal commenter is user Tekbarrier. Our opinions are opposite on a lot of stuff,.. but he's a stand-up guy that I would back up in a barfight any day of the week,.. and you fall in that category bro! =)

I respect that and hope to become a part of the landscape here.I can learn a lot from the advice "veteran memers" that you and meme king have offered.
We're all here to have a civilized sharing of thoughts,ideas and observations communicated with visual creations and it would be impossible and frankly kinda' dull if everyone was exactly the same.On the other end there's really nothing to be gained from insults,profanity or racial slurs... There's enough of that already in the real world.I try to conduct myself accordingly or at least with decorum and diplomacy as I can.
I'll check in on Tekbarriers page,I'm sure I'll be some upvotes and comments there.
