Most of the anonymous memes seem to be made by redditors. About 40% of this sites traffic is from reddit. If anything these anonymous posters are sending people to imgflip that might see, and upvote your memes. They also have the guts to claim their memes on a site that reaches many more people than imgflip. 70k daily imgflip visitors vs. 10.5M daily reddit visitors.

Sorry I did not mean to rustle any feathers on the reddit side, my comment was pertaining to those who make anonymous submission here and mention Imgflip users by name. These aren't always seen as they never go anywhere but they do exist. Again this is not aimed at reddit users as not all anonymous posts are made by them.
