Sometimes I come across a meme that has more comments than upvotes and I think maybe the upvotes are taking a while to show? I don't know why people wouldn't upvote memes they like.

I've upvoted memes and then hit the bank button, and noticed they're not upvoted later. Maybe the back button erases them?

I think the # of upvotes are different if you look at the meme in the stream with memes, and if you click on it.

No, because this strange, but glorious site used to have Upvote Fairies and Downvote Fairies (Voting Trolls?) I DO miss the dislike counter though; I saw it has constructive crit. To make better memes.

I figured out why they don't register properly. If you view the commonts and upvote it will show. Until tou leave the comments. Then the upvote unfegisters. You must upvote from the outside of the meme in order for it to register properly.

They came out pretty much at the same time, I would suggest both were the result of reading some of the same threads and the GMTA effect!!! :)

Probably, in fact, this meme was a meme comment on someone else's meme, but it worked on it's own, so I submitted it.

I'm glad you submitted, I really think users had started to forget that the upvote shows that others are indeed paying attention to their thoughts, and that posting them is worth the time.
