Let me answer you with a question. If I hand in a resume to an employer, are they obligated to contact me if they DON'T choose me for an interview? No, of course not. Same goes for an interview. It's part of the process. Future employers have no obligation to contact people they have no intentions on hiring. Would it be nice? Sure. But you shouldn't expect it.
