I was reminded of this comment when looking at a USA Today Article. I found the most non-relevant (and scientifically impossible) comment that started this random (and petty) argument, and one person pointed out that someone somehow managed to bring politics into this. So I thought of this. Anyway, it's basically a troller, but fun to read anyway. http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2016/01/20/researchers-discover-planet-nine/79056118/ Scroll down to the third comment posted by one Doug Brown, who supposedly went to MIT XD.

I'm using it and I don't see why you'd not like it.

I had it installed on 3 machines and each one failed. Lots of their updates screw up other apps and even removed the ability to turn the PCs off. I'll wait until they've spent a year or so debugging it.

I know what you mean. I installed it on my pc twice and it was terrible. I dumped it and went back to Windows 7. The best you can hope for is that Micro Soft gets all the bugs out before Windows 7 is unsupported.

Windows 7 was the best Windows I used since XP. Still on XP Pro (32) at the moment, until I upgrade my RAM (my laptop has 64-bit processor, but doesn't have its stock ram sticks. downgraded to 1GB total). I already have a Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit disc from my last laptop ready to go.

It's processor does most of it's work, and it has -not terrible- integrated graphics, but it originally had 2gb, windows vista (ew) and the ability to run Skyrim at a choppy but playable framerate. Then my hard drive died, and my friend's RAM fried, so I loaned him my RAM. I got the 512MB's from my old (I mean old, like circa 2003 or 2004) laptop. Once I got the new hard drive I just stuck with XP, because I wanted Windows 7 back, but my install disk is 64-bit only, and 64-bit Windows 7 requires 2GB of RAM.

But I digress. I tend to ramble, so feel free to stop me at any point :P

yes but the processor needs space to work with and thats what the ram is for. if it runs out of memory space it tries to make virtual space in the disk and using that space takes forever to process compared to if one would just use more ram

but i hate how the only way i can upgrade my graphics without buying another motherboard is using a desktop graphics card adapter that requires a slot already occupied by the networking chip. good quality offline or potato online play? hmmm

"Long Line" of disappointments? Exactly how long is this Windows Line of disappointments? Personally, I don't like Windows 10's over simplistic look but I find it pretty useful and my computer hasn't had any problems since I upgraded. While Windows 8 was different, It worked for everyday use, and I actually liked the different Start Screen. The only problem was it's removal of DVD maker and free Media Center. As for Windows 7, I don't have any problems aside from the fact that in a few years it's going to become unsupported like XP (I love XP as it was my first OS though). So, again- How long is the "line of disappointments"?
