It was one of my favorites growing up!
That got me searching, supposedly there's a film version in the works starring Mark Wahlberg, but all the stories are dated 2014, so I don't know if it's still a go or not.

Well I do like Mark, they could do a good job, but then they could hollywood it all up n f**k it up. Same I heard about Blade Runner, that one scares me cuz the original was so good.

Yep, the remakes are a real crapshoot, you either love 'em or hate 'em. My daughter is a huge Mad Max fan of the old series, and she loved the new one. Same with me and Terminator, I dig all of them.
