I don't see your logic. Guns already require licenses, as least concealed carry does. And it's not exactly easy to get a gun, every time i've gotten my guns cleaned, just cleaned, i've gotten a thorough background check done on me. I do think people need training, but requiring training and a license is a far cry from what most people, including Obama, are trying to do.

The only reason the government wants to restrict civilians from owning guns is because it's a lot harder to control its citizens when they're able to fight back.

That's because getting a blunt weapon is easier than getting a gun. If citizens have guns, the chance of dying to a blunt weapon would be significantly lower.

And more people would die of guns. Either way, people get killed.

But I'd rather get shot then be hit by a blunt weapon a bunch of times.

That's a double-edged sword. Sure, less pain, but it also means you can kill more people faster as well.

True, but the point of gun control is to restrict the flow of firearms to people who will use it for unlawful purposes while allowing people who deserve guns to obtain them.

cool. I am christian, so you can guess my stance on stuff like lgbt, but the people themselves I have nothing against, I just don't really agree. I can very easily be friends with a gay or lesbian. I actually have some lesbian friends anyway
