I know what you mean! The worst thing about the hack to me, is that now I'm sure I am missing some good memes. I won't click on a link unless I know the person and I haven't been around long enough to know very many people.

I stopped clicking links,... I see a meme or comment. I it is someone I know,... thats different.

The best and worse day for me on this site, I woke up and had 3 memes on the front page and was #1 on the 7 day leader board. Then the site gets hacked and the two memes I had left on the front page got deleted and 40,000 points were gone from my weekly average. It was hard not to take personal but it is what it is and I still feel lucky and happy to be here.

Same thing happened to me Bro...But we bounced back just fine...now it looks like we're going back and forth with 1st and 2nd place on the 7 day leaderboard...LOL

Yeah I know we both got butchered, at least it didn't take away from our overall points. I didn't think I'd passed you again but I don't check it that often. My daughter told me about it that day or I may never have known I had the top spot for a few hours lol.

I do the same, there was one guy that had been deleted off my two front page memes that got deleted that I pointed out to people. Every comment he had on his profile page was a link. I can't remember his full name but it started with dube or something close to that and sounded German or at least European. I even commented on two of his links and he never replied to defend himself so I think it was a good call. Just sucks that the hackers made it harder for new people to get us to look at their memes.

didn't reply to you right away because i don't imgflip every day. my links are to previously built memes, another flip'r showed me how to do it.

That's really weird, I just looked and your link on one of my memes is back and it said deleted last I looked. I was told that the hacker or hackers put links on the front page memes to get our passwords. There are a lot of speculations going on and I apologize if I was incorrect. I just saw all those links you had posted after being told to watch out for links and a red flag went off. It really sucks that this happened to our little community here making is question any link we see. Again I apologize for pointing a finger I shouldn't have.

Yes that is very true, it seems like nothing is safe these days.That's what had me worried most, not so much my memes being hacked but if they used this site as a backdoor into my email and so on and so fourth. I'm glad you said something to me, and that you handled it so maturely and didn't just cuss me out. Don't think I would have blamed you if you had....

Lol okay! Well, I've seen this image before, just wasn't sure what it was about. I was referring to a meme the hacker posted here he/she hacked the site. I stumble on it by accident and unfortunately I can't unsee it.
