Well,.. Genisis 2:19 says: And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.

How could an ape do that?

First off, what makes the Bible any more likely to be true than the Qur'an? I want you to explain that. And now I'll explain how apes evolved into humans: Apes, because of climate change, moving to a location with a different climate, or being put in conditions they are not used to, caused a very minor and isignifigant resistance, strength, protection, or any change to their body that could not be told even existed. If they were to have children, their children would be born with the same effect from the conditions. The effect would grow stronger in that child, and in their children, and so forth, and over the course of millions of years the effects would become noticeable. Apes had to have multiple effects on them, because there is more than 1 difference between hummans and apes.
On some rare occasions, there could be something called a genetic mutation. A macroscopic difference that came just between parents and children. For example, the woman with horns, the first orange carrot in the 1700s, and the girl with purple eyes. I hope that gives a clear explanation on how "an ape could do that", even though it took much more than an ape.

If you don't read this because it's too long, and make an argument about evolution, than I can assure you that your argument will be invalid.

D1sc... you are at least making a debate.. and listening to opinions. I've actually read what you're referring to how environment had an affect on man. But my take was that this affected the races.. as opposed to evolution. It makes sense.. climates having an effect on melatonin and lots of inbreeding within groups of the same language. I understand this to be from the tower of babel when God confused languages and people went their separate ways.. of the same language... as opposed to evolution.
0 ups, 9y
I think the reason of races being different is because they went their seperate ways after many couldn't cope with the conditions they were in (note that they were probably spread out already) and developed unique traits such as different skin color, eye fold, temperature resistance, and many other things. I don't think the tower of Babel ever actually existed. It's comparable to Greek and Roman tall tales. I'm not sure why people jump to the conclusion that things like this happened when there really is no evidence of it.

Can you prove to me that an isotope's half life is constant over a course of millions of years? If not, then STFU about evolution already dude.

Why even waste time debating something we can't observe or test? Why debate someone over their belief in a higher power as well? They believe in God and you don't. You have no way to prove that there isn't a God, so why waste your breath trying to tell theists that they're wrong? And don't lie to yourself by saying you're somehow debating a science related issue when in reality you are debating theology/philosophy.

Science HAS to be observable and testable. Evolution isn't either of those and is only a theology. Stop wasting people's time trying to convince them of something you and no one else can ever prove to be true. :l

I can't comment on your most recent. We can observe the microscopic changes in a person, as well as fossils and extinct species. It takes a while to explain. We can also look at genetic mutations which I mentioned. They aren't hard to observe, because you can actually see them.
0 ups, 9y
That doesn't "prove" evolution though. That's the point. That only proves that we experience mutations. Which could be changes in diet or influenced from radiations. It can't be observed or tested. That means that it isn't SCIENCE. :l

I'm just gonna stop arguing. It's wasting both of our times. Let's just both say there's nothing we can prove about either thing on our side. It's just down to what we on our own think is more logical. Trying to change someone else's point of view on things is useless.
0 ups, 9y
You're still making it about God though. I'm saying scientifically evolution is unprovable and is ultimately false for other reasons like an agenda to remove "God given" individual's rights.

You can't change my mind on evolution because I know from research that it's a lie that was pushed for a specific reason and that scientifically it can't be proven. And also that there is utterly no point to trying to explain the creation of existence. Once you can understand that, you'll be better off, even if you don't believe in God.

But to be honest, you seem to hold angst against God. You also seem to blame God for all the atrocities that people have committed over the years. That's why I gave the point of do you blame your parents for bad things that happen to you. God is responsible for creating existence and giving us free will, but not responsible for what we did with those gifts. THE PEOPLE WHO COMMIT EVIL ACTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THOSE ACTS. That's simple enough for anyone to understand.

And I still think that you and anyone who doesn't believe in God should try proving It to themselves. You must all be asking the wrong questions to not see something that billions of people see. Not to mention that countless people have died for like the Disciples and other theists. I'm not saying you need religion, just God. :l

How is it logical to believe in Evolution? You're basically saying that we experience genetic mutations.. That is not true, if a human had a genetic mutation, it'd be cancer, and it'd kill them.
