Don't buy into it...i've seen probably close to 50 memes about me so far, I can't believe 3 or 4 of them actually made front page...as flattering as it is, I'm really starting to dislike it...that's just me.

I'm not a point monger either...as a matter of fact, I'm purposefully letting my leaderboard score plummet so someone else can have a chance at it...I'm taking a break from submitting memes for a bit.
That is exactly right and my latest meme is about "exactly that" for those that are smart enough to actually get it...it's a "confucius says" meme and it has a double meaning...One funny and one "real"...

Get an alt account to post your memes and don't tell anyone. Good memes do stand on their own but name recognition does tip the scales a bit. I have a really miserable alt account that I won't name. Then just comment on memes using your main account.
I think I know who your alt is...but your right...I have a friend that's also a user here at imgflip...I gave her a meme idea (that I was gonna use) for her first submitted meme and it went straight to the front page...
