Always upvote comments and memes that visit your memes,.. and leave comments o memes that are witty,.. funny,.. or complimentary. If someone disses your meme,.. my advice is dont be an ass back,.. ignore them. I also ignore the trolls,... someonewho leaves a random ignorant comment,... like "G_d s#cks", etc.

If you ever get stuck with a submitted meme,.. that wont feature, feel free to send it my way and ill try andhelp get it featured with an upvote and comment. Keep going,.. and have fun! You are creative,.. you will do well. ;)

The reason I say upvote all comments and memes,... is that they will in turn upvote yours. You can get an extra 20,... sometimes 50 or more upvotes. Ic you're going for points,.. that helps.

So the guy with the raccoon pic on the front page right now, I googled raccoon with rabies to find a pic with a reply and bam there was his meme only slightly different! So I look at 4 of his other memes and all of them are reposts. I'm not trying to be a dick but isn't that kinda messed up? I'm not sure what the proper way to deal with that is around here this is all still new to me.

Some people think repost are ok.. I personally think originality is much better. I have seen my own memes reposted. It dont hurt to post a comment. . "Repost".. i have.

On two of them I posted links to the other memes. I kinda feel bad now... I would feel flattered to see a repost of mine. But when somebody is making the front page off another persons idea that bugs me. I will just let it go I mean imgflip is still making money off them so I can't say they are crazy to let it happen lol.

You can comment on it though.. some argue it's a compliment.. some say it lacks creativity. I've made a few repost.. but didn't know it. They were slightly different. That's a fluke that will happen.

Yeah I guess it shouldn't bother me, most of my ideas just pop in my head and I make the meme in a matter of minutes. But I write for a living so I guess I have an advantage in a way. I'm not going to let reposts upset me, it' entirely possible that an idea I get has been thought of before. That's why I like to search for original templates because if a meme has been made like what I am thinking of I see it. Plus in comments it's no deal at all whatever is funny at the time, but to submit something and say it is yours is plagiarism in my world so I guess that's why it seems like a big deal to me lol.

Oh nothing you'd have read lol, I have a couple novels in the works that I hope will get published. I've got a side gig fact checking and sometimes "improving" a couple peoples work, but it's extremely boring and I have no creative license or the ability to take credit for my ideas. That's why they pay me I guess lol.
