My first visit to meet the new inlaws. 8 hour drive, we get there and I can't buy alcohol. Her sisters husband hadn't "treated" the well and their water was brown. They'd sprayed for bugs and there were dead and alive cockroaches everywhere. I never took my shoes off in that house even when I slept lmao. I was afraid I was going to get carried off in the night by bugs!!! I should have ran right then, of course I wouldn't have my daughter so I can't regret meeting her now.....
