Most of our prisons are government run. The ones that are privatized have a contract, with the government, that assures that they get a minimum amount. (like 95%) So when they are below 95% prison population they still get paid the amount that they would get if it was at 95% without having the expenses of those extra people. So really, having less people keeps the profits up more than if they are full.

Prisons are being bought by private companies to turn a profit on people.

What does prison - have to do with slavery? These are inmates that committed crime - they were not sold to prisons like slaves were sold for profit - on every tier, to include their own countrymen. Colleges are private instutions which turn a profit - is that like slavery too? Private hospitals turn a profit - is that like slavery?

More laws make more things illegal makes more prisoners. Like drug laws. Prostitution...look up private prison fraud. There was a judge on PA that was sending kids out wholesale because he was on the take from the private juvenile jail.

Because China executes 100 times more people than we do. Here are some interesting facts:

But, because this is a state secret, you can bet these figures are much higher. As far as prisoner execution numbers, you are putting in the wrong context. To measure proportions, you have to consider PRISONER population and not citizen population. The argument is that the US have the largest PRISONER population in the WORLD. That includes China. So, if the Unites States have more PRISONERS than China, in order to maintain a proportional ratio, United States will have to execute MORE PRISONERS than China. Based on the year I used for my figures, the US executed 46 PRISONERS vs. 2400 in China. Based on the original argument, China executes a much HIGHER ratio of PRISONERS because their PRISONER population is lower than ours. Do you understand now or do I have to illustrate this to you with stick figures?

You could be right. I cannot prove my point with official figures. I assume you cannot either. I do have to admit, a lot of those are most likely innocent. Harvesting, in my opinion, is intentionally killing people with the aim to use their organs. Using organs from people on death row - often convicted innocently - is more like recycling. I do get your point though. On the other hand, there are countries where it's legal to use organs from deceased people unless they have a donor card stating the opposite. I.e. the opposite of a donor card. Belgium springs to mind. I personally think that's not a bad thing. It helps a lot of people and to be honest, who gives a toss when you're buried with a kidney or liver missing. I don't. About your BBC statistics, I'm not so convinced about the facts coming from the Beeb. They are probably right, but on the other hand they also reported with the utmost confidence about WMD's in Iraq. So I'm a bit sceptical...

Off topic, but since you brought it up, the WMD intelligence that the Russians and Brits intercepted and provided the USA with was fabricated by Iraq. By Saddam Hussein himself to keep Iran at bay. He confessed this fact before he was executed. Because of Iraq's history with WMDs, you have no reason to doubt the intelligence was fake; especially when it came out directly from Saddam. He didn't think of the long-term consequences. He was more concerned with Iran's nuclear program and Iran's potential desire for revenge.

Where is the insult you are talking about? I provided you with an article by a British outfit (The BBC) where all these human rights violations are being listed. You, on the other hand, keep countering with baseless "maybe this or maybe that". So my question is valid. You haven't supported a single point with something factual.
