Maybe my shark attack analogy didn't click. More whites = more white deaths. Crunch the headcount/total population of each race in the country with the number of deaths in their race... and get back to me... or just keep beating around the bush.

Whites: 0.0000101721% chance of being shot.
Blacks: 0.00003260412% chance of being shot.

Blacks make up a significantly smaller slice of the pie chart that is America.

I'm sure there are other ways to crunch the numbers as well.

The problem with using shooting numbers and simply dividing by population is it ignores so many factors it's laughable. Wow. The assumptions. Everyone within a race has an equal chance of being shot? Really? Why don't we just look at actual shootings instead of doing mental calisthenics and contortions to make the actual numbers fit our preferred narrative? More whites are shot by police each year than blacks ... by about a 2:1 margin. Your "shark analogy" clicked it's just you didn't understand it yourself. The best way to get attacked by a shark is to be in the water. It doesn't matter what race you are. The best way to get shot by a cop is to break the law, fight with the cop, try to take his gun, charge at him, etc. It doesn't matter what race you are. Do those things and your chances of eating lead increases.
