I don't think the average liberal (especially the vegan-ish person in this picture) thinks survival of the fittest is the appropriate way for society to live their lives... They believe in affirmative action (despite the fact it doesn't do much), socializing food and medicine, etc... Pretty much everything that goes against survival of the fittest. Although I think forcing someone else to foot your foot bill or med bills through the law is fundamentally flawed.
"But for some reason they have implimented this dislike of murder into their lives while still still denying the bible, which strongly opposes murder..."
-There are many, many reasons a person would deny the Bible. Rejecting dogma (RE: the clustering of principles) does not mean you are rejecting every, single principle therein.
You could just as easily cherry pick things from the Bible which seem to support murder (genocide, even) pretty heftily.
The Bible is not streamlined like other religions because the Judaic texts of it are the most barbaric of any religion. Along comes the New Testament with more peaceful measures one might be able to pick and choose. But, there's no real way of reconciling the two. They were written in two entirely different spans of time.
