Yeah. Calling the cops would have compelled me to discard the tip out of principle, but I needed the money, lol. Oh, and another time a drug dealer/pimp (and possible mugger?) blocked me off in my parking spot with his car to offer wares. I had one hand concealed on the side of the seat, so he didn't try anything else after. Seriously, that job blew. Never again.

You ever work for tips in a black neighborhood? Approximately 1 in 14 people will tip you. No exaggeration. I've worked in multiple black neighborhoods, same story. They seldom tip. That's not racist, it's truth.

I have a feeling that they didn't tip you because they was poor and not because they were black.

If you can afford pizza, you can afford a tip. And no, you're dead wrong. White people, Asian people, and Hispanic people in similar housing nearly always tipped. The issue is culture, and blacks assimilate on average more to a subculture than to what is considered appropriate by mainstream America. But, the failure to tip is not a result of "being poor." It's a result of "being a dick."

So what about nice black people, do they tip?

The rare ones who do usually tip above what the average tip is from the other demographics, yes. 13/14 of them will either not tip or are under the impression not asking for their 15 cents change is a tip. The other 1/14 is divided. 1/28 people tip average, (about 2-3 dollars) with the other 1/28 tipping very generously (around 8-12 dollars). So, I'd say the few black people who do tip typically tip generously, but they're in the minority (no pun intended).

I don't really care what people think of me. This is true of most America. And no, I gathered this from multiple black neighborhoods at multiple pizza delivery jobs. And this comment is funny because yes, on the rare occasion a white person doesn't tip, I only remember it ever being females or children. Some people send their kids to the door with EXACT CHANGE so they don't have to embarrass themselves with their cheap asses. I HATE THOSE. They get cars keyed. No exceptions!

I got out of food service. I'm getting my dream job in Colorado in September, so I'ma just wait for that. I don't like delivering dead animals to ignoramuses for a living.
