The right of free speech applies to the government's treatment of its citizens. The government cannot incarcerate someone for a vocalized belief, but citizens can disagree with other fellow citizens without being hypocritical as long as they are not advocating for the incarceration of everyone who disagrees with them.
I have been on this topic many times and many others and i usually take the conservative side but to be honest Politics in general is just plain stupid and i will say from my experiences the liberal side is always hippie-like, and Liberals are usually big on government (Usually) and im just like " What happened to the hippies that always said screw the government?"
I think his point was that conservatives do it too. And I have to agree, nobody likes free speech when someone has a different opinion. So both sides do it, I have noticed.
