Universal healthcare isn’t better. Just ask all the people from Canada and Mexico who come to the US for healthcare (if they can afford to).

Paying people more for doing the same work causes inflation so, that wage never becomes “livable” no matter how high the government makes it. Minimum wage mandates make automation affordable, causing job losses.

Most of homeless people are there by choice. No housing is “affordable” when you’re suffering from substance abuse and/or don’t want to take on responsibilities.

If these, so called, well functioning developed nations are so great, why aren’t Americans clamoring to migrate to them instead of the opposite which is happening?

1. Canada is not a good example of universal Healthcare but there are several examples of universal Healthcare from other countries that have much better Healthcare than the USA and Canada mainly European countries such as France, Germany, Switzerland. Denmark, Norway, Finalnd and a few Asian countries such as Singapore and Japan. You don't see a lot of people from Switzerland or Singapore going to America for "better" Healthcare. You don't want to admit the truth that universal Healthcare does work, you point to the one shitty example of Canada and ignore the several good examples such as European countries and Asian countries like Singapore which is a very flawed argument against universal Healthcare on your part. Even Donald Trump himself once renowned Australia for its exemplary universal Healthcare system.

2. I actually would somewhat agree with you on this one. Not all jobs deserve high wages, a crappy fast food job isn't deserving of something as high as $15/hour but I am not advocating for that. I am actually talking about people who do lots of hours of hard labor and shifty employers trying to get away with paying them nothing and a culture that doesn't have respect for the working man is part of what lets shifty people get away with exploiting the worker. That and McCarthyist propaganda demonizing basic respect for the working man as "evil socialism".

3. Your view on homelessness is rather short sighted. Not all homeless people are their because its their fault, some did land in hard times due to people not paying them for their work and landlords evicting them at whim. The way to deal with homelessness is a case by case basis and only deal with homeless drug addicts by tackling their drug addiction accordingly and not treating all homeless people like indigent drug addicts. That is how Finland tackled homelessness and it's the only country in Europe with actively declining homelessness rates.

4. Maybe Americans can't afford to move to these other countries or maybe they simply want life better in their own country. Also the people migrating to America aren't from better developed nations like Switzerland or Singapore or Denmark. It's people from underdeveloped 3rd world shitholes like Mexico, Venezuela, Columbia, Iraq, Sudan, Somalia, etc. Your flawed arguments only prove my point that anyone MAGA doesn't have a heart or a brain.

The left thinks government control of housing, healthcare, wages, etc is the answer. They condemn capitalism despite the overwhelming evidence that it is superior to socialism and communism. They want equal outcomes which inevitably means equality at the lowest level - poverty.

The left is brainwashed into thinking higher taxes, more welfare and government control will make America better. They want to keep the population dependent on the government to keep the leftists in power. They despise independence because it gives people freedoms that welfare removes. You claim to have a heart giving welfare with other people’s money. Teaching a man to fish, rather than giving him a fish, is real compassion and that is what conservatives offer.

You're strawmanning me. I am not for government control of everything. I am only for basic responsible government regulations where it's necessary, that's not the same thing as socialism let alone communism and I know your bad faith strawmanning is only your attempt of giving yourself a false sense of feeling right. Also I'm not for people being dependent on the welfare state. I am for people being independent and doing an honest day's work. The problem I see is people being left in the lurch even after doing an honest day's work and taking "not my problem" too far and having such a mindset leading to people defending those who screw others after one does an honest day's work. I don't want people to be overly dependent on handouts, I want them to be able to fend for themselves after being "taught to fish" so to speak but there are bigger problems that prevent one from suceeding after trying to fend for one's self and I want such problems to be solved so one can get what one deserves after trying to fend for one's self. Your bad faith strawmanning of trying to make like I'm on board with some agenda of "the left" is nothing but disgusting self-righteousness to demonize anyone who addresses legitimate issues. Not everything is a left vs right partisan issue and one doesn't deserve to be falsely framed as being part of "leftist socialist agenda to destroy freedom and independence" I am for people being able to make their own decisions but not for people being made to be completely left in the lurch. My reason for addressing such issues has nothing to do with some "leftist agenda" as you falsely frame it. I address certain issues because I actually care about other people's freedom and well-being and I know that government isn't the only thing that can affect one's individual freedom, non-governmental issues can affect one's life including employers and landlords that screw people and address such issues has nothing to do with "leftist socialist agenda" it simply has to do with basic law and order protecting the rights of the worker and consumer. Just because i want criminal employers and landlords held accountable for their actions doesn't mean I want all employers and landlords to be abolished nor I do i want total government control over everything. I am simply for government enforced basic law and order where it's necessary and I know that socialism is certainly not any solution to anything.
