Good guy with a gun saved lives

That dad saved lives and gave that evil teenager exactly what he deserved-death. The criminal justice system wouldn't have given that shooter the death penalty because he was under 18.

Not only did that dad save lives, he also saved money. It costs between $64,000 and $79,000 to keep someone behind bars for one year in Oregon. The average funeral costs between $8,000 and $10,000, and you only have to pay for a single funeral once. Males are now expected to live to age 76 on average. Since the shooter was 16 years old,.that dad saved the state of Oregon as much as $4,732,000 (calculated by subtracting the minimum funeral cost from the maximum imprisonment cost).

As a Oregon resident and gun owner, I show my respect for him. Not only did he saved the lives of others, but prevented the shooter from harming more.

when it comes to the 2nd amendment. the one thing is you can prevent something like this from happening and you have the right to bear arms. the tragedy about the 2nd amendment is that shootings do happen because we have the right to bear arms, and there's the people who want the gun control and bans. The 2nd amendment has it's upsides and downsides.
