The way the government carries out death is different than how death is carried out by a lunatic with a gun. The reactions and statements regarding his death were simply the results of social desensitization to violence and polarization, you should know that you cannot didactically instruct people on how to react to tragedies or events that stem from larger implications. Public executions not only deepen the existing issue of desensitization but sets the precedent that justice can be turned into a spectacle. You'd be no better than the people who cheered Charlie Kirk's death.

Capital punishment has a deterrent value as well as serving justice for the victims and their families. Only if I cheered or mocked his death I would be the same as the leftists who mocked and cheered Kirk’s murder. I didn’t say I would cheer it or mock it. People need to see justice and the consequences of these type of actions, in the military especially.

The fact that there are people who commit murder doesn’t negate that there is a deterrent effect. Note the word deterrent isn’t the same as eliminate. You will never know how many people weren’t murdered because the perpetrator didn’t want to risk death. Leftist propaganda doesn’t equal truth.
