"Filthy rich" is like ... the top. People who own stuff like yachts and private jets I would say are filthy rich.
Bernie is just regular rich.
His lifetime earnings from his career in Congress is $5.4 million, but he is now worth $3 million.... So he doesn't exactly seem to be making out like a bandit here.
And unless you think there is a category above "filthy rich", you are equating Bernie Sanders with people like Rick Scott who have more than 100x Bernie's net worth.
Bernie has 3 houses. Rick Scott could buy an entire city block of houses.
