The left has been trying to change our vocabulary for decades but they can't handle a lake rename?

Suddenly conservatives care about deadnaming? Of course they don't. Like with everything else, they just pretend to care about it when it serves their purposes.

You're right. I don't care about deadnaming. I don't care what your preferred gender pronouns are. I don't feed narcissists. You tell me your name and I will call you that but if you tell me I have to alter my speech patterns just for you, I will not. If you tell me you are now a different gender I will not play along.

But... I am not a monster. I am not about to try to hurt anyone's feelings or make fun of them. I just believe that I do not believe it is my responsibility to change for someone else. I don't ask anyone else to change for me.

Fortunately for me, I don't know anyone who has claimed to be either the opposite gender or some invented gender. I doubt that I will ever meet someone like that because people my age just do not do stuff like that. That is something high school kids do to mostly get attention. There are a few people who suffer from gender or some other kind of dysphoria and I have never met anyone like that.

So if it bothers you that I won't play along with someone's fantasy world, just know this. It most likely just doesn't matter because I doubt I would ever run into someone like that in a social setting.

I do remember a transgendered person who worked at a walk up counter restaurant and I ordered my food from them. But ordering food is all the interaction I had with them. I'll never see that person again because I was on vacation in Scotland when I saw him.

So it is not likely I will never accidentally offend anyone playing make believe.

I don't tell people who they should identify. Science, logic and reason already does that. Believing you are something you are not is playing make believe. It is a child's game. But you can play make believe all you want, just do not expect me to play along with you. I stopped being a 3 year old, 65 years ago.

If you are changing something to something better then you won't find a single conservative who is reluctant to change. The problem is the left has NEVER proposed a better idea for anything. I wasn't talking about my life. I was saying that no one playing make believe will ever be offended by me because I don't have any friends or friends of friends who play that game. I am not a lefty. I do not have a checklist of the type of friends that I must have. When I make friends it is only because I get along with them and not because fit a specific type of person. So if I had a black friend it would only be because I get along with them and not because my checklist has black people on the list.

Odds are not in your favor. Trans people make up maybe about 1% of the population. Fad trans people are different because they're only doing that because it somehow became cool. When they get older they'll stop with that fad.

EVERYONE is different than me. No two people are identical, not even identical twins. Only people who pretend to be something they are not are the ones playing make believe BECAUSE that is the very definition playing make believe.

Honestly this whole name changing thing is really no big deal to me. Presidents, governors, county commissioners and mayors have been renaming stuff every chance they get.

The only thing that really bothers me is when lefties stupidly rename stuff. We had a lefty lesbian mayor in Salt Lake City that felt like having a Martin Luther King Blvd wasn't enough. She renamed a street Cesar E Chavez and another one Harvey Milk. That has got to be the dumbest renames ever.

Cesar Chavez HATED illegal immigrants. He nearly beat to death at least one of them. Plus his whole reason for being famous is because he lead a protest for higher wages for grape pickers. They were grape pickers who were in this country LEGALLY, either they were born here or they got their citizenship or a green card.

Chavez stood for everything lefties want.

Harvey Milk's claim to fame was that his boyfriend went to the San Francisco city office, where Milk worked, and shot him. Then is boyfriend was acquitted of all charges because he claimed he ate too many Twinkies that day.

That was the famous Twinkie defense.

Getting shot by his boyfriend is all Milk did. Not much to advance the condition of the LGBT community.

As far as Martin Luther King goes, there is not a lefty alive who believes in MLK's dream. In fact they are working overtime to make sure that people ARE judged by the color of their skin. The hate the notion that people should only be judged by the content of their character. The left is all about skin color and only skin color. The content of character statement crushes the left's "white people are born racist" narrative.
