Freedom of religion only works when it stays a religion

Freedom of religion only works when it stays a religion | If this was just a religion, it wouldn't be a problem. But since it's a political ideology that sets up a theocracy everywhere it goes, and allows the killing of those that disagree, it should not be allowed in politics. | image tagged in islam, immigration, hijrah, taqiyyah, political, ideology | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

I think everyone deserves a place to worship their gods

They do. But when your "religion" tells its followers to kill whoever doesn't believe in their god, then no one is free to worship their god.

So you're saying Christianity was also an invasion?

The Irish had 6 waves of invasions BEFORE the Christians. Each group worshipped different God's. It's recounted in the Myth of Tuan Mac Carril. The book that contains the myths of Pre-Christian Ireland is called The Book of Invasions.
The last group of pre-Christian invaders - the Milsians fought the Tuatha Da Danaan gods for the Island. There was intense animosity between them after the 2nd battle of Moy Turra.
When Christianity came to Ireland the Irish couldn't wait to convert because the old gods disliked them.

Christians DID bribe kings to convert the people (google "rice Christians") but they didn't do mass beheading etc.
