During Vietnam war, we hired Indian scouts. When they forced the Indians trackers to cut their hair their performance dropped and they could no longer track efficiently.

I know right? I was amazed at when I was stationed in Norway in the 90s that the Norwegians were allowed to wear whatever they wanted as long as it was military. No set uniform and beards were the thing. I had to go through many passovers because of my beard medical chits. What's legal on paper and what happened in real life was not the same. Thank you for your attention and notice. You are probably the change in be the change. 🙏

28 years Marines and Army veteran here. My uncle was SF in Vietnam and he called me a caveman. And I said yeah 👍. When I lived with him we always watched Captain Caveman. Now that I'm out that's pretty much what's happening.
