You can't vote your way out of problems unfortunately.
To get rid of them you need 51% of every relevant voter in every state to vote in the correct person forever, and for that person to never become corrupt or have lied about their intentions...then for everyone to keep track of that and collectively agree to a change.
The only way to fix is to rid the position.
