Mamdani wanted to raise taxes on the rich to fill NYC's $12.6 billion budget deficit but Gov. Kathy Hochul refused and instead contributed some money to the budget to patch the problem temporarily. Additionally, since the beginning of his term, New York has had the fewest murders and shootings since 1993 and he has started free childcare for an additional 2,000 kids. You simply don't like him bc he's muslim/indian; MAMDANI IS GOING TO DRIVE NYC INTO A FINANCIAL CRISIS!!!
