I think they went wrong when they let anyone vote, even people that don't have skin in the game.
Personally I think they should only let net positive tax payers and veterans vote. I also think there should only be one vote per household and if you are single you count as part of your parents household.

I agree I would only add that I think property owners should be allowed to vote they have skin in the game they care about their community transients people that move in and out of apartments vote on your local issues and then they move out and they go somewhere else but yet you're left living under the rules that were created by people that now live 50 states away
