I don't have much of a problem with Donald Trump. I am pro life which is why I hate seeing people die. I'm aussie and I post memes making fun of our government all the time and I do not have a criminal record.

Of course the US has about 344 million people vs 28 million in Australia.
So, based on your data, there are 0.143 gun related homicides per 100k people in Australia vs 0.095 per 100k people in the U.S.

Those numbers don't work. Australia's gun homicide rate is 0.1 deaths per 100k people. If Australia had the same population as the USA and we multiplied the gun homicides in Australia as such, Australia would have roughly 510 gun homicides a year and America would still be in the thousands in a year.

Oh, wait. I was using both homicide numbers as per year.

I'm not trying to get guns banned. I like guns and I'm quite interested in how they work. I just want there to be more precautions and background checks so there are less shootings. Guns are not banned in Australia, they're controlled. I know tons of Australians who own guns.
