No country has become rich thanks to aid from others!! Just their corrupt leaders and corrupt people/politicians from other countries providing that aid!! Just another reason to never vote Democrat!!

Tell that to Japan. Or Italy, which had the biggest economic recovery and growth of any country after WWII. The rest of Europe would still be a Third World dust heap it wasn't for Truman. Then there's China.

Basically the reason why the rest of the planet has electricity and paved roads and automobiles is the same reason why the South of the US does, United States of America, or rather, the North of United States of America.
