California firefighters are increasingly shifting their focus to the state's homelessness crisis, which now drives nearly a third of all emergency fires.

Proactive Outreach and Education: Fire departments (such as in Redding and Sacramento) are actively visiting encampments. Firefighters distribute educational materials, advise on safe cooking practices away from dry vegetation, and warn of penalties for illegal fires

I live in Colorado, these fires were caused by a giant lightning storm that passed through the state. Drought conditions created the perfect fuel for these fires to spread rapidly.

Two summers in a row this has occurred, last year it was Black Canyon National Park and the Uncompahgre Plateau as well as the Deer Creek fire which produced one of the largest fire tornadoes in history, this year it's state wide fires, including in Ouray and Colorado National Monument(Pictured in post)

Ah yes, Colorado, another democrat ran place. Seems like Colorado already has a history of wild fires since 2002, last term you guys had a republican governor, and when they started documenting them, what a coincidence. https://dfpc.colorado.gov/sections/wildfire-information-center/historical-wildfire-information. Keep voting democrat, they love that hot mess.

Guess you’ve never heard of weather cycles. El Niño Southern Oscillation (ENSO) generates years of El Niño and years of La Niña weather patterns.

Furthermore, 20,000 years ago New York City Central Park was covered with 15,000 feet ice. Geological evidence includes glacial striations on exposed boulders in Central Park. That is undisputed scientific fact. All that ice did not melt because cave men were driving Hummers. Whatever natural forces caused that ice to melt are still at work on planet Earth today.

Correct, those forces are still at work but are accelerated by greenhouse gasses trapping heat in out atmosphere

Guess again -

The glacial record shows geological periods with rising CO2 and global cooling and periods with low levels of atmospheric CO2 and global warming. Indeed, according to a 2001 article in Climate Research by astrophysicist and geoscientist Willie Soon and his colleagues, “atmospheric CO2 tends to follow rather than lead temperature and biosphere changes.”
