I do not like it. The US government should not have a stake in any private company. It should not be susceptible to making market decisions.

If a frog sits in warm water long enough, his legs will relax so much, he not be able to escape. Hence, a slow frog boil. Citizens are frogs, and they are happy with the temperature!!!

Why do you think we have Welfare, Food Stamps? It's in the Lord's Prayer, "give us our daily bread." That's actually an ode to Rome, not God. The Romans knew that as long as you kept everybody's bellies full, they're not likely to revolt.

So every family was entitled to one free loaf of bread a day in Rome. This way nobody went hungry. This way nobody revolted. Back to today, as long as you can keep poor people fat, they're not going to fight back.
