How many federal electric vehicle charging stations did pothole Pete get completed? The goal was to have 500,000 charging stations by 2030

Only something like 499990 to go. Maybe he can get it done if he just doesn't take any more maternity leave... or is that people without a uterus that think they have one leave.

We need more.nuclear fission power plants. Also, I would love to see a nuclear fusion power plant someday. Nuclear fusion will use less fuel over time than nuclear fission, and there is zero chance of a meltdown.

My dad told me the exact same thing, that power grids would never be able to handle all cars being 100% electric. I'm glad you're as smart as my dad.

Gasoline-powered cars will always have the edge when it comes to refueling. Topping off a gas tank takes less than five minutes, charging an electric car takes hours.

It's a scam. Ask a mechanic why an EV doesn't have an alternator to charge the battery as you drive it like a gas powered car does?
The whole point of an EV is not to "fight global warming." It's to limit how far you can drive.
With alternators they'd get by with smaller batteries and you'd not have to charge them as much.
But they don't make them like that.

"The whole point of an EV is not to "fight global warming." It's to limit how far you can drive."

That's shocking. Also, I thought one of the goals of EVs was to have an alternate power source in case we run out of oil. What about biofuels? Couldn't we find a way to synthetically generate oil, gasoline and kerosene from plants? It might be cheaper than importing them from overseas if we do it in the United States, and we wouldn't need to make big infrastructure changes. Those biofuels could be transported and delivered using the same equipment we already have.

You think maybe EV car makers are being bribed by airlines to limit how far people can drive to encourage people to travel by plane more often? That sounds scary, but plausible.

Please tell me where you got your information so I can learn more.
