After the 'in your face' assault on family values, my pronouns are 'gay fatigue'.

My question about pride month is this. If gay people believe they were 'born that way", why do they take such pride in celebrating something that they feel they have no control over? Most people feel pride in something they worked towards earning or accomplishing, not something they always had with them from the moment they were born.

Good question, X. I don't think that those of us who are heterosexual desire a parade to affirm the way we were born. This month of 'celebration' is nothing more than indoctrination.

A minority population has actually expanded into an identity crisis in this country and around the world. They've morphed "sex" into "gender" which has become a number nobody knows as it is a 'social construct'.

My main concern has remained with the children unduly influenced. Children are innocent little sponges and the liberals have added colors, music, dress up, and parties to appeal to them. The "in your face" push of this agenda should be rejected, not celebrated, IMO.

We should fight back by expanding Memorial Day to Memorial Month, lasting from Memorial Day to the Fourth of July. Have big flags, billboards with photos and short stories about active-duty military personnel or veterans, more military vehicles being visible in everyday life, that sort of thing.

Because they are free to be open about who they are and not have to hide it or feel ashamed like they used to be forced to do

It's closer to 1% . I worked for Gallup in the 80s. They sent you places to poll where you'd get the results their client (NBC) wanted. If they were polling about Abortion they'd send you to an abortion mill, etc.
I once lived in the 3rd biggest city in WV. We had 2 occult bookstores back then and zero gay bars. Supposedly there's twice as many gays as Pagans. There aren't.
