Here're my takes for all of the swords:
- The first sword is useful for when you want to start with the smaller, weaker monsters when you enter a dungeon or any other terrain. I'm assuming you have to ring the bell in order to activate it. But there's a chance a bunch of monsters, let's say choplets, will come running and swarm you. However, if you're pretty OP, it should be no problem.
- On paper, the second sword seems pretty good. One user on the comic's website commented that the sword could get so heavy it slides down through the monster's flesh. However, other users made a very important point: the weight of the sword.
We don't know that sword's default weight. For all we know, it could be made of a very light metal, lighter than the usual metal used for forging swords. One user said that the average sword weighs about 1-2 kilograms. So maybe a sword weighing somewhere between 100 and 200 kilograms would kill a choplet, but it probably would be useless against a dragon once it gets stuck. It'd also suck if the sword doesn't immediately kill the monster in one swing.
- With the taffy sword, you could probably distract the monster(s) by feeding it to them and quickly grab another sword to kill them while they're chewing. If there's an actual blade underneath all the taffy, maybe the monster(s) will accidentally cut their mouth(s) or choke on the blade and die that way. But if the monster safely eats all the taffy off the sword, it now has a sword to fight with, so you'd definitely need to have another sword around in case that happens.
Out of the three swords, I'm choosing the first one. I'd prefer to start with the weaker monsters before moving on to the stronger ones.
