The Founders, while great men, were not perfect. For example there were a lot of 'old money families' that basically sat the War of Independence out instead of picking a side. After the war was over they latched onto the winning side as if they themselves were in the thick of it like Washington, Franklin, etc. Instead they were 'safe' at home protecting their riches. These families should've been kicked out along with the British military and politicians.
Instead they were permitted to stay, fester, and back some of the worst politicians ever throughout these past 250 years. Springsteen comes from one those families known as Springs.
