What is the purpose of the almost, if not slightly over, ONE HUNDRED gauges on here? Particularly the 6x12 grid of just gauges.

the plane has six propeller engines, while some variants also have four jet engines added on for a total of 10

and of course, all of those engines need seperate gauges to monitor their status (i assume things like engine speed, fuel flow, etc.)
