It was portrayed online as author unknown but like you, I found the words to be very meaningful.

In long term marriages, commitment & appreciation are so important. A few months ago, I was telling our son what a good man his father is and he corrected me and said, "No, Mom, Dad is not a good man, he is a great man." I was blown away by his words and will never forget them.

"Dad is not a good man, he is a great man."

What a great line.

That dad, clearly, has done his job well. Your son has done his job as well. He has learned what a great man is, he is proud of him, and it looks like he wants to emulate him. That's a win all the way around.😌😊🏆
