I don't remember Jesus ever saying "ask not what God can do for you, but ask what your government can give you for free".

in 2,000 years of cumulative editing, they probably dropped a lot of quotes that weren't movie-worthy.

But how do liberals feel about kiwi farms hosting child pornography on their official fedicerse server?
0 ups, 8h,

i imagine that most liberals have never heard of kiwi farms and they suppose that all kinds of contradictions and sickness occur in the world, since that is in the nature of our kind, but that's speculation on my part. whenever i talk to people i think of as liberals, the topic has never once come up.

How do you feel about it, not a liberal?

Personally, after being unofficially excommunicated from my church for accurately warning about our governments beginning to move in villainous ways back in 2014 after I was specifically tasked with praying for a message from the Lord as a member of the pastor's newly formed intercessory prayer group, I feel like it's more of the ssdd.

The reputational damages and baseless slander never ends, Charlie.

that is true, Anzu/Naru, so i keep an enemies list and act on it as opportunity allows, but for the rest of the time, i don't let it distract me from my goals.

i know that all kinds of contradictions and sickness occur in the world, since that is in the nature of our kind. i don't discount it but i'm very focused on other problems.

That's a surprisingly self-described liberal take from someone who is self-proclaimedly not a liberal.

Evidently all kinds of contradictions really do occur in this world!

remember when i pointed out that you make mistakes in logic? this is another example for you to recognize and think on.

Jesus acted Conservatively. often demonstrating self-discipline.
The Devil that tempted him for 40 days in the desert was a Liberal

Maybe we'll take that splinter out of our eye,
when first you deal with the log in yours ?

no idea what you mean, bud.

It's a quote from Scripture. People who have never read the Bible just make fools of themselves when they try to be self righteous about a subject they lack both knowledge of and belief in.
0 ups, 8h,

i know it's a quote from Scripture. what i'm saying is that it's being inaccurately applied. you art particularly righteous-acting for someone who is so strongly agin it, bruh.
1 up, 8h,

How so ?
Inaccurately applied that is. Do elaborate.

sure, and thanks for asking. it shows that you're open to correction. you say i have a log in my eye. we all suffer from many misperceptions, which is inevitable given our poor understanding of our earthly circumstances. but you comment seems to suggest that I hate Conservatives, which i do not. if i did, i wouldn't be trying to help them regain some normalcy. i'm a moderate, or more of an eclecticist, really, and an objectivist to the extent that i'm able. the fact that i target extremisms doesn't mean that i advocate for their opposites. so in that sense, my eyes are as log-free as i can keep them. won't you join me?
2 ups, 7h
Well, you pointed out the sliver in several of our eyes first... your log was easier, due to it's size to see

in fact, you don't. most of you make inaccurate assumptions about people that you only know from their posts. i try to correct them when i can, but i have a life to live too.

The problem is, you are trying to correct others without correcting yourself first.

why do you say that?

Your meme has a very self righteous tone and uses a broad brush to paint anyone who doesn’t agree with liberals as hypocrites.

For example, most liberals consider expressing an opinion that the LGBTQ+ lifestyle is immoral is hate speech. I know several who think anyone who doesn’t agree with them or accept their sexuality as normal hates them. So, when you say “you hate liberals” it sounds like you mean “you disagree with liberals.”

Also, Your meme isn’t even accurate since Jesus’ teachings more closely matches conservatism than liberalism.

This is why you need to deal with the beam in your own eye before trying to teach a lesson about loving thy neighbor to others.

People who mock Christianity 364 days of the year should not try to play self righteous on that one day about characters they don't believe in from a book they never read.
In chapter one it says man must work for by the sweat of his brow he will eat.
That's not food stamps bro.
0 ups, 8h
do you find it funny when people exchange bible verses that seem to contradict each other, like when God says Withhold food stamps in all their forms, but Jesus says Feed and clothe the poor if ye wish to enter the Kingdom of my Pop?

There is a 2 part Caveat to the Golden Rule as described within the Gospels.

Why must so many Libweirdos omit the 2nd half, while calling out strangers to observe the first?
0 ups, 14h,

does the Golden Rule have some special significance here?
2 ups, 7h,
1 reply
Apparently to some that write the title: "Today's lesson is about loving thy neighbor." it lacks significance.
One can derive from the title as a half of "Love thy neighbor as thyself" which is what most might
recognize as the Golden Rule of several ;Eastern philosophies and religions; and yet insofar as the statement the meme maker states in the title relates to Christianity, it is only half of the statement in the Gospels 2 Part Caveat for Jesus. Love thy neighbor as thyself is only the 1st part.

Brilliant in your own partial correctness. Thanks for the effort in your distraction meme with Alex Trebek. He rocks. Your rebuttal here? Not so much.

i'm used to other people needing time to see my meaning. there's no rush. it might help to be more careful about assigning words and meaning that aren't there or intended. it gives the impression of wanting to create a strawman as purchase for criticism. good night, Urbie.

these attacks on me and other deflections are straying from the lesson that the New Testament God plainly recommended caring for the poor and disadvantaged. if you recommend the teachings of that God, your better course of action might be to demonstrate it through words and actions. even if you believe that others do not, i dont think that would give you a free pass at the Pearly Gates. now go forth and ruminate on that which i have yammered.
