Truth. We can't win, if we assimilate "minority" food into our diets, comfortable clothing from other nationalities it's because "RACISM!" If we don't enjoy the rich culture of some of our legal immigrants, we're "RACISTS!" If Republicans agree with Martin Luther King, we are shredded not as accepting the concepts and denied access to the belief, because we are doomed to forever be "RACISTS!" No amount of reflection and correction is permitted or allowed for "RACIST REPUBLICANS!"
The sickest irony is the perversion of history. The Democrat party is the oldest surviving party in the US, and contrary to any assertions they make, they were the "Party of Slavery." They are the party that forced the Civil War to preserve and expand slavery. They are the party that demanded that humans could be another man's property. They are the party that denied the Declaration of Independence affirming that "All men are created equal." Black slaves excluded. The Democrat Party is the party of the Fugitive Slave Act, which allowed bounty hunters to go anywhere to capture runaway slaves. The Democrat Party is the party that allowed that Act to be used to capture and enslave Free Blacks in the North and import them into the slave states of the South. This is the same Democrat Party that decries the arrest of illegal aliens today as criminal.
Such a proud heritage the Democrat Party has been founded on.
The Republicans are an offshoot of the Whig Party, which Democrats say called slaves only 3/5 men, rather than acknowledge the truth. Democrats wanted to count slaves as citizens, though they had no rights of citizenship, in the census in order to increase their representation in Congress. The Founders intent was that in time, slavery would be limited to a few states and legislation would be introduced and passed to peacefully abolish slavery. In a fantastic temper tantrum the Democrat party forced the Civil War to retain the ownership of other human beings. Lincoln described the Democrat party then and now when he said they demand that the rule the nation, not our laws or Constitution with the goal to "Rule or ruin". No wonder they had to kill him. Any question how they justify the assassination of Donald Trump?
