Seeing the modern progressive movement call Islam a religion of peace while attacking Christianity is one of the most infuriating things about living in this modern day.

The Quran quite literally says to strike a wife who disobeys or talks back to you, while the Bible says to nurture her and protect her and show her honor as a fellow heir of the grace of life, or your prayers won't be listened to.

The Bible says to go and make disciples of all the nations and be willing to die to spread the gospel; the Quran says to spread the faith through conquest and killing unbelievers is worth it sometimes. Heck, Islamic rabbis have openly said that you should be deceptive about what parts of Islam you show to the world, as a way to try to advertise it so cultures will fall into it, before you show them the real thing - in other words, "we know the progressive movement sympathizes with us, and we will happily scam people into thinking they'll find happiness in our religion until we get in power and start killing them if they don't share our opinions." The Bible endorses no such thing, and yet is far more scrutinized than Islam, despite all the first Christians dying to spread their faith, while all the first Muslims spread their faith through "believe or die" and conquest and slaughter. Christians did do that later, but that was after heavy deviation from scripture in times where the church outlawed translating the Bible into their own language, so in those days, "the Bible" was whatever the spiritual leaders felt like saying (and these leaders were power hungry gangsters), and had nothing to do with Christianity or God.

The fact that all this is true suggests one thing very strongly; the Christian devil definitely exists, because there is clearly a force in this world that thinks "any ideology is fine to believe or follow as long as it's not the Christian God specifically." The only being that would explain this is Satan himself.

Goes even deeper if you will-
Wisdom is called 'her/she' in Proverbs
The Church is the BrideFemale) of Christ.
In Revelation there is the Woman(Israel/Church?) being hunted by the Dragon(Satan/Lucifer).

So basically, you're cherry picking the best parts of your religion and the worst parts of Islam and trying to compare them to each other

If you were honest, you would acknowledge that the Bible also condones a lot of horrible stuff like rape and slavery and genocide and killing people for worshiping a different God

No it actually doesn't. A specific person suggested rape to a bunch of degenerates who were trying to bust down his doors and gangrape literal angels. People like to argue "God said Lot was a righteous man, so He endorses that". Lot also selfishly forgot Abraham's kindness to him when he offered to settle a dispute between their people, and picked all the best land for himself. Just because someone is considered righteous doesn't make them perfect. Even Abraham didn't always live up to snuff

And anytime the God of the Bible tells Israel to slaughter a people, it's often because of how twisted the society is. Rampant rape of young ones and women is one of the things consistently necessary in a society for God to tell Israel to wipe a people out. It's not simply "for worshipping a different God" - otherwise God wouldn't have taken credit for Babylon beating Israel when He said it would happen.

Islam on the other hand, lacks such context. People often try to defend pedophilic roots in Islamic culture by arguing that Rebekah was 3 when Isaac married her in the Bible (which is laughable for numerous reasons). Even how women are forced to dress is oppressive, and everything is so male-centric to this day. Even "paradise" is described as where a man will have 100 virgins at his disposal and Allah will purify them daily and remake them into virgins so he can sleep with them and he will be given strength to sleep with all of them in a day.

Comparing these two religions falls apart quickly when you realize the core values of each of their creators - they weren't the same.

Yes it does and I can prove it. I wasn't even referring to the story of Sodom and Gomorrah, which, by the way, says that the hero of the story offered up his own children to be raped. Why does God say lot was a righteous man when he was willing to let his own children be raped?

If a culture does wicked things, does that make it okay to kill everybody in the culture, including children and babies? That's what God commanded, he said to kill even the children and babies. Why are you defending the killing of little kids?

The Bible says that women are inferior to men, so your argument doesn't stand up

Also, like I said, the Bible says to treat women with respect, and I hate to break it to you, but actually every culture that has ever shown an ounce of respect to women has been influenced by Christianity. Even cultures where men behave like pigs, if it's looked down upon at all, that influence has pretty much been because of Christianity. Look at any ancient empire outside of the Bible, like the cultures in Herodotus, for example. The Scythians and Romans and pretty much everyone viewed women as toys unapologetically. If they didn't have means to reproduce, everyone just took women by force and married them without consent. That literally was how the Roman empire even started. And then there was even a queen once who had every woman's breasts removed for no reason. There were kingdoms where basically as soon as a woman reached the age of adulthood according to their culture, she was forced to go to a brothel and prostitute herself and sleep with someone, and that was how she became an "adult".

The Scythians, who were total barbarians for centuries, eventually accepted Jesus and their entire culture changed. Like I said, there are verses that say "protect your wife and love your wife and show her honor as a fellow heir of the grace of life so that your prayers will not be hindered." Their entire lives changed.

Even US culture is Christian based, which is why we've always looked down on men who cheat on their wives. There is no such shame for that in ancient days - matter of fact, in most cultures, if a woman got raped or abandoned by her husband, it was considered her fault, and sometimes rape victims even got killed for being a family embarrassment even though she did nothing wrong.

There are no instances where people stop disregarding women bc their culture accepted Islam, bc Islam does not preach respect of women. Women are forced to have ridiculous dress codes while men can do whatever they want.
This is why rabbis like Mohammed Hijab can have a side gf thinking he'll dump his wife for her and then when she gets dumped, her whole life is destroyed but nothing happens to him. Allah's paradise sounds a lot like Epstein Island btw. Islamic rabbis also admit that they lie about their religion to get it accepted in cultures (bc let's be real, if leftists knew what real Islam was, they'd never put up with it for similar reasons conservatives don't).

I think pretty much all religions are a bit too male centric but none compare to Islam.

Yes but my point in that story is that Lot wasn't exactly portrayed as a hero and he made mistakes. To be real, the only hero in the Bible is actually Jesus. Even Abraham made mistakes. Even David, someone God said was a man after his own heart, did horrible things that God punished him severely for. Solomon, the wisest character in the Bible besides Jesus, literally left God in his old age due to an obsession with foreign women who turned his heart to other gods. No one in the Bible is portrayed as a "hero". It's not a superhero story - it just records things the way they happened.
Lot is also considered righteous in comparison with his surroundings, which isn't a high bar. Tbh, we don't even know much about him and two of his biggest decisions recorded in the Bible are very questionable. Idk if the Bible just records his worst moments or if he's actually just righteous compared to his surroundings. I mean he lived in an area where men just see two passersby and are like "hey let your guests out, we wanna gangrape them" and they tried busting down his doors.

Also it's possible he could have been punished for that as well when his daughters later conspired to drug and rape him (which no one talks about when questioning the Bible btw).

Also, when it comes to the mass killing, I'm not really okay with any of that, but at the end of the day, no religion ever is innocent of that. My biggest idea on why God told them to do this is bc He wanted their cultural traditions to not even tempt His people. Most Christians will defend anything God does and chalk it down to "God gave us life, so He has the right to take it away." I won't argue like that, but I do think it's important to remember that the ancient days were far more violent and war happy than nowadays, and sometimes if you didn't eliminate a tribe, their children might grow up and eliminate you out of revenge. Even women were insanely psychopathic in some cultures. Our modern world can't even begin to comprehend that enviornment.
Tbh I believe God is definitely real but i do question if He's good or cares about us, but if He's all powerful, at the end of the day, good is whatever He says it is, so who are we to judge Him? I have all kinds of problems with God but He could end my life in an instant so why would I try to "demand a day in court with Him"? If evolution is true, everything is pointless and whether you believe in God doesn't matter - but if God's real, you go to hell for getting that wrong.

Also we are no longer in the covenant of the law which we still can't live up to 100% of time but the covenant of grace because Jesus Christ did fulfill 100% of the law and then some in ways no one could've imagined. Muhammad was a step backwards to a time when mercy was in short supply. Not because of God but because of man. Look at Nivenah. Jonah wanted the place wiped out like Sodom because how awful they were. God said He would spare that generation of Nivenah because they would repent of their sins unlike Sodom when they get the warning to 'repent or else!'

All Sodom and Gomorrah had to do was repent like that generation of Nivenah did and would've been spared the firebombing into oblivion.

God always wanted humanity to repent of their sin first before being punished and wiped out. When God became Flesh and Blood, died and resurrected, it became in part that ANYONE can repent and find salvation with God regardless of person's past except for Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. Just one sin, a trillion billion sins, Hitler, or worse than Hitler, everyone is now on the same level.

Preaching slavery, ethnic cleansing and rape is a constant across all the Abrahamic religions, and is in no way unique to Islam.

You wanna know is responsible for the ongoing genocides in Gaza, Sudan, and Lebanon? Because its not Muslims, its the United States and its proxies.

Read what Leviticus actually says about Israel and slavery and why the Tribe of Benjamin nearly got extinct in the Book of Judges before saying ignorant stuff.

Jews and Christians have adapted to the new world. They’re not preaching. It’s more descriptive. Roman paganism preached more rape and ethinic cleansing…
