This is just semantics. USSR had an economy based on money. All socialist countries have economies based on money or some kind of vouchers. Trade is universal. Socialists economies just have more central control. They all have blackmarkets also because socialist econmomies are inherently inefficient. Instead of markets they have beaurocratic waste and corruption. Please study the economies of any socialsit conuntry. They are all the same.

I understand that the USSR is the subject of some fascination for the youth of today, and yes, I'm happy to tell you that those were indeed scary times. But they are over, the USSR is gone, so sometimes you have give up and to move on.

But then again, maybe not necessarily so as some wishes might be granted. As you may very well know, Doctor Jesus Trump and his boss, Putin, have been working hard to revive the USSR. So you might get to see it after all.

Pick any socialist economy past or present. Argentina, Venszuela. Socialist light, France, GB, Spain. Slow growth, little inovation, poverty, stagnation, budget deficits. They are all mostly the same. Free health care that isn't there, but it's free if you can find it.
